Aden power station comes to stop

ADEN, Jan. 01 (YPA) – ‘Al-Haswa’ power plant in Aden province came to a halt on Friday as a result of a technical fault, a source at the plant said.

The plant’s generating capacity reached zero during the past hours of the day, the source added.

Aden city has been experiencing a full collapse of the different basic services, including electricity and health, amid a state of insecurity and chaos, since the control of Saudi-led coalition on the city in the second half of 2015.
