University professor’s killer sentenced to death

ADENT, May 24 (YPA) – A first instance court in the southern port city of Aden on Wednesday sentenced the defendant Abdulkarim Mujawar to death for killing a university professor along with two of her family members.

The court’s verdict convicted Mujawar of killing Dr. Najat Ali Moqbel, dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Aden, and her son, Sameh Ahmed, and his daughter, Lian, late last week.
