ADEN, Dec. 30 (YPA) – A media source affiliated with Hadi’s government on Wednesday revealed details about an attack carried out by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias on the presidential Maasheeq Palace in Aden city.
Anis Mansour, a former media advisor at the Hadi Government’s embassy in Riyadh, indicated in a tweet on “Twitter” Wednesday, that “Maasheeq palace (Hadi’s government headquarters) was hit by missiles from Al-Memdara area in Aden.”
Mansour affirmed that the attack is “a clear message from the UAE to Hadi’s government to quickly leave Aden province.”
Targeting of Maasheeq Palace came hours after the Aden airport explosions, which coincided with the arrival of the Saudi-backed newly-formed government of Hadi at the airport. The attack left dozens of dead and wounded this afternoon.
