Health Minister confirms keenness to activate institutional work

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, on Tuesday confirmed the Health Ministry’s keenness to activate the institutional work and strengthen the supervision, follow-up and evaluation system in the health sector.

This came during the consultative meeting that was devoted to discuss ways to promote the level of health services provided in the medical facilities at the level of the provinces and districts.

The meeting touched on the mechanism for developing the performance of officials of private medical facilities and strategic planning in accordance with the national vision agenda.

Dr. Al- Mutawakel considered the meeting a first practical step to develop the institutional health work based on scientific foundations that meet the actual needs of the health system.

He urged all health sector employees to sense responsibility for improving the level of health and treatment services in various medical facilities.
