Official in Hadi gov’t escapes to Cairo

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Southern media sources reported on Tuesday that a security leader in the Saudi-backed Hadi government fled to the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The sources confirmed that the director of security in Abyan province, appointed by Hadi government, Ali Al-Dhaib al-Kazami, known as “Abu Mishaal”, arrived today at the Cairo Airport, after his security forces failed to enter into the city of Zinjibar under the “Riyadh Agreement signed between the Islah Party and the Southern Transitional Council.

The sources did not reveal the reasons for al-Kazami’s departure, which came as a surprise with the start of the implementation of the security and military part of the agreement.
