SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The French Presidency announced the killing of three French soldiers in Mali, after an explosive device detonated their vehicle in Humbori region in the north of the country.
According to the agency “Reuters”, the French presidency said in a statement that three French soldiers were killed in Mali on Monday when an explosive device exploded in their armored vehicle, adding that the soldiers were in an operation in Humbouri area.
This brings the number of French soldiers killed in Mali to 47, since France intervened militarily for the first time in January 2013, claiming to fight so-called terrorism in the country rich in mineral and gold resources located in the Sahel region in West Africa.
