UAE-backed militias send more military reinforcements to Aden

ADEN, Dec. 28 (YPA) – The UAE-backed “Shabwanian Elite ” militias on Monday sent military reinforcements towards Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, local sources said.

According to local sources, armored vehicles and military pickup vehicles of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) arrived in al-Khobar area east of Shuqrah city, after leaving the Belhaf camp which is under the UAE occupation forces in Shabwah.

The sources pointed out that the reinforcements of the “Shabwanian elite” passed by  the city of Ahour, which is under the control of Islah militants.

This comes after the Saudi Military Committee transported a number of armed men of the “1st Brigade of Presidential Protection “loyal to Islah, on civilian buses, from Shuqrah to the al-Mashiq Palace in Aden.

The military situation in Aden is witnessing severe tensions between the “STC” militias and Islah militants returning to the city, which has delayed the return of Hadi’s government until next Tuesday.
