Army besieges 2 brigades of coalition in Jawf, liberate new areas

JAWF, Dec. 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees were able to liberate new areas and besiege two military brigades of Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries in Jawf province, special sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources affirmed that violent battles erupted among the army and coalition’s troops in the northern desert of Jawf, when the army liberated Shaikha and Matabiq areas.

The sources pointed out that coalition’s forces inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment due to ambushes carried out by the engineering unit of the army in al-Taba al-Hamraa area of al-Khanjar front.

The army forces liberated al-Dhahra camp completely and besieged the ninth brigade, the sources declared.

The army carried out a successful military detour targeted coalition’s mercenaries in Beer al-Hamdha area during their attempt to advance towards the ninth brigade, the sources added.
