Al-Huraizy announces new stage to liberate Mahra, Socotra

MAHRA, Dec. 28 (YPA) – The former deputy governor of al-Mahra province Ali bin Salem al-Huraizy said the General Council for the Sons of Mahra and Socotra would draw up a political program for the next phase to liberate the two provinces from the occupation.

Al-Huraizy added, in a statement after the selection of Sultan Mohammad Abdullah Al Afrar as head of the council unanimously, that the correction conference achieved and succeeded strongly, according to Mahriya TV.

Earlier, A Preparatory Committee for the General Council of the Sons of Socotra and Mahra, unanimously elected, Sultan Mohammad Abdullah Al Afrar as the chairman of the council for the Sons of Mahra and Socotra, instead of Sheikh Abdullah bin Afrar, who was complicit with the UAE and Saudi occupation in the two provinces.
