SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights discussed on Monday with the deputy director of the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, to Yemen the aspects of cooperation in the field of human rights.
At a meeting gathered the two sides, Acting Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, stressed the importance of playing an important role by the UN towards the crimes and the siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people for nearly six years.
Al-Dailami referred to the arbitrary practices taken by the coalition countries towards the humanitarian aspects and preventing the entry of oil derivatives, which exacerbated the suffering of the Yemenis.
He expressed his hope that the international community would assume its humanitarian role and move to stop the war and lift the siege on Yemen.
The meeting touched on the humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the repercussions of the coalition war, and find urgent solutions alleviate the suffering the Yemeni people.
Meanwhile, the UN official affirmed the readiness to make every effort to convey the human suffering of the Yemeni people to the UN officials and to work to alleviate the suffering.
