Army inflicts coalition forces heavy casualties in Jawf

JAWF, Dec. 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni army inflicted on Sunday the Saudi-led coalition forces heavy casualties in Jawf province, according to informed sources.

The sources affirmed that dozens of the coalition forces were killed, including two top commanders, and wounded others, in a counter-attack carried out by the army on sites of Khab Washaf district.

The coalition forces waged an attack in a attempt to advance towards the army sites in al-Khanjar area in the same district.

The commanders killed were identified as Hadi Al-Salata and Mansour Abdullah Ghafina, the sources added.
