Official arrested by UAE forces in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – An official of the General Authority for State Land and Real Estate in the occupied Socotra province was arrested by the UAE occupation forces.

According to local sources on the island, the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia summoned the authority, Jamil Abdullah Dimouri, and forced him to leave and hand over the authority’s stamp.

The STC militia has carried out a wide campaign of kidnappings and arrests against a number of officials on the island after they took control over the city of Hadibo in last June, 2019, and expelled the Islah militants.
