Ongoing cold wave hits Yemeni provinces

SANAA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warned on Monday citizens of the continued cold weather on most of the Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.

The center expected in its weather forecast the cold wave would target the mountainous heights of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Dhalea, Shabwa, Hadramout, Marib and Jawf.

Its warned also citizens, especially the elderly, children, workers, during the night and early morning hours, as well as travelers to the aforementioned provinces affected by the cold wave to take the necessary precautions.
