YPC employees continue protest in front of UN office in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – Yemen Yemen Petroleum Company has on Friday, organized a protest in front of the United Nations office in Sanaa to denounce the continued detention of the oil derivative tankers by the US-Saudi aggression.

The protest entitled “the United Nations: neutrality from humanitarian principles and bias towards international piracy”.

They denounced the clear bias of the United Nations toward the maritime piracy that is practiced by the countries of the aggression on the necessary needs of the Yemeni people from oil derivatives.

The company confirmed that the aggressive coalition intentionally doubled the suffering of the Yemeni people by continuing detaining the oil tankers, as the period of detaining these tankers reached more than 250 days.

They issued a statement calling on the United Nations to fulfil its human rights mission and to carry out its tasks in Yemen, by putting more pressure on the Saudi-led coalition to release all detained oil vessels and to ensure that they are not detained in the future..

The statement reiterated the demand for lifting the embargo on Sanaa International Airport and Ras Issa facilities, and for protecting the Yemeni Petroleum company, its facilities, stations and its agents from targeting by the enemy.
