Islah military commanders move to take control over Zinjibar district in Abyan

The sources confirmed that  thirty military pickup vehicles and 12 tanks and armoured vehicles withdrew from the Araqoub area, towards the provincial capital of Zinzibar, in order to hand over to the leaders of the Al-Islah militants.

The sources explained that there are difficulties in implementing the mechanism of entry of the so-called “public security and special forces” of the Islah to the city of Zinjibar, led by “Director of Security” Abyan, Ali al-Dheib Abu Mashal al-Kazmi, and Mohammed Al-A’awban .

The sources pointed out that the UAE-backed southern tractional council (STC) rejected the return of the two leaders who are leading the confrontations in the Abyan front.
