HADHRAMAUT, Dec. 11 (YPA) – A soldier was killed on Friday by unidentified gunmen in the town of Seiyun in Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen, local sources said.
According to local sources, unidentified gunmen opened fire at a military post belonging to police at the Shahuh junction in the western entrance of Seiyun, killing one soldier and injuring another.
The gunmen fled the scene to an unknown destination, one of the sources added.
The districts of Wadi Hadhramaut which is under the occupation of the United Arab Emirates forces, have been witnessing major security chaos and assassinations carried out by armed factions loyal to the invaders, aimed against Yemeni military and security officers, as well as civilian targets.
