UAE sends new batch of thermal rockets to Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The UAE forces have sent a new shipment of advanced weapons, including thermal rockets, to Abyan province, southern Yemen.

According to sources, the rocket arrived at al-Taraih and al-Sheikhs Salam front to back the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in its battles with Islah Party militants.

The UAE’s reinforcements came after its militia suffered heavy losses during the past two weeks in the fierce confrontations with the Islah militants on Abyan front.
