King Felipe of Spain in quarantine after contact Covid-19

SANAA, Nov. 24 (YPA) – King Felipe VI has placed himself  to a  quarantine after coming into contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, Spanish TV channel RTVE reported, citing  the royal court.

According to the channel, “the king has cancelled all planned events and will remain isolated until his safety is confirmed.”

The Royal Palace issued a statement indicating that Queen Leticia and Princesses Leonor and Infanta Sofia, despite the king’s quarantine, would be able to continue their activities as usual.”

The statement did not specify how long the king would spend in quarantine, nor the person he met.
