SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Six army and police personnel were killed and 12 others were wounded in two separate attacks in the Afghan provinces of Baghlan and Nimruz.
The Afghan Talou News Channel quoted security sources as saying on Monday that the Taliban militants ambushed the security forces in Baghlan province in northern Afghanistan, killing three soldiers, wounding six others, and damaging army vehicles.
The Taliban movement claimed responsibility for the attack.
In a second attack, three policemen were killed and six others were wounded in an attack by Taliban militants on a security post in Chakhansur district of Nimroz province, southwest of the country.
The death toll from twin bombings and rocket fire rose against the Afghan capital, Kabul, the first yesterday to at least ten people and wounding dozens.
