Islah militants wage missile attack on STC sites in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 16 (YPA) – Islah Party militants waged on Monday an artillery and missile attack on the sites of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, sources said.

According to the sources, the Islah militants inflicted the STC militia heavy casualties and military software loses in Sala Valley of Shukra area.

Mweanwhile, the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government forces reinforced with Islah fighters took control of a number of sites in fronts of Sheikh Salem and al-Torih area.

Large military reinforcements recently have arrived in Abyan, coming from Shabwa province, to reinforce Hadi’s forces on the fronts that witness fierce battles between two sides.
