According to the American “CNN” channel, supporters of Trump gathered in Washington, on Saturday night, to protest the results of the presidential elections, and the media announcement that the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, had won those elections.
Latoya Foster, a spokeswoman for the Mayor of Washington, Muriel Bowser, was quoted as saying, “Police forces have arrested at least 20 people,” noting that “an adult was taken for treatment after being stabbed several times,” and that the victim is in critical condition, according to sources. Foster added, “Two metropolitan police officers were also injured,” pointing out that “security forces seized seven firearms,” as there is no open-carriage law in Washington.
