Coalition forces begin planting mines inside Marib city

MARIB, Nov. 8 (YPA) – According to sources close to Marib province, the Saudi-led coalition forces began on Sunday digging trenches, building fortifications and planting mines in many areas of the city of Marib.

The sources affirmed that the coalition’s moves came due to the great military advance being made by the Yemeni army forces towards the city.

The sources added that the coalition forces also planted mines and built combat fortifications in the vicinity of the government compound in the city, Tadawain camp, and the military police camp.

The Yemeni army waged a military action against the coalition forces in an attempt to restore the coalition-led city, which is an rich oil and gas wealthy.

The coalition carried out an military operation against the Yemeni army and people in a flagrant violation of the internal affairs if Yemeni and its sovereignty, and the international law.
