Motorbike driver assassinated in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 7 (YPA) – A motorbike’s driver was assassinated on Saturday by unknown gunmen in Taiz city, according to sources.

The sources said that the militants on a car heavily opened fire towards the driver in Jamal Street in the center of the city and fled.

The Islah militia-held city of Taiz has seen continuous assassinations and security anarchy as a result of the conflict between the armed factions backed by the Saudi-led coalition.

The coalition has been waging a military action against the Yemeni army and people since 2015, in a flagrant violation of Yemen’s internal affairs and its sovereignty, in addition to the international law.
