UAE mercenaries attack social figure in Lahj

LAHJ, Nov. 3 (YPA) – The UAE-baked Southern Transition Council (STC)’s militias on Tuesday attacked and beaten a sheikh in Lahj province, Southern Yemen.

Human rights sources confirmed that that the UAE-backed militias intercepted the car belonging to Sheikh Abdul Hakim al-E’azibi in the center of Al-Hawtah city, the capital of the province, and assaulted him in a humiliating and brutal manner.

Activists posted a video on social media documenting the attack on Sheikh al-E’azibi by the STC militias. They used sticks and rifle butts to assault him, causing serious injuries in various parts of his body.

This comes after Sheikh filed a complaint in the past few days with the “Lands of Lahj authorities, explaining the attack by the STC leaders on citizens’ and state lands in the Rabat area, prompting them to attack him and try to silence him from telling the truth.
