NCM warns citizens of cold wave over 24 hours

SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warned on Saturday citizens of the continuing cold wave and its effects on farms in most of the Yemeni province in the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the wave would targeted residents and the farms of mountainous highlands, in the provinces of Amran, Sanaa, Saada, Dhamar, Bayda and Dheale.

It also called on farmers to preserve their agricultural crops from the effects of extreme wave, warning fishermen of the disturbance of the sea at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the south of the Red Sea.

“Partly cloudy weather in most of the coasts areas with the possibility of sporadic rain, and moderate to active winds at times on the southern parts of the western coasts reaching with its speeds from 12 to 25 knots.”

The center explained that clear and dry weather desert areas, with light to moderate winds.
Additionally, the weather would be partly cloudy in general, with possibility of scattered rain, and light to moderate winds.
