GPC calls on Yemeni people to participate in religious celebration of Prophet’s birth

SANAA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The General People’s Congress (GPC) and its allies on Wednesday called on the Yemeni people to participate in the religious celebration of the birth of Mohammed Prophet that will be organized in al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa on Thursday.

The GPC affirmed in a statement that religious festival come at a time when the Prophet of Islam is exposed to deliberate insults by some western countries and media outlets.

The statement said that the religious celebration would show our adherence and defense of Islam and its Prophets, and refuse any insults targeting Islam and Prophets.

The GPC congratulated the Yemeni people the Arab and Islamic nations on the religious anniversary of the great Prophet’s birthday.
