Turkey detains Salahi activist at Ataturk airport

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Turkish authorities arrested Yemeni activist Jalal Al-Salahi at Ataturk airport.

Activists on social broadcast a video footage  for the  activist Halal al-Salahi announcing his detention at the airport without any justification, accusing the Muslim  Brotherhood and Qatar of being behind the move.

He said he was detained despite carrying a US passport and a valid visa.

Activists said al-Salahi was on his way to visit his family in Istanbul, and that the arrest was against the background of his proposals critical of the Brotherhood.
