Yemeni missile, drone strikes hit Israeli targets, including Ben Gurion Airport
SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces affiliated with the Sanaa government announced that they had launched a hypersonic ballistic missile targeting Ben Gurion Airport in occupied city of Yaffa, known as (Tel Aviv).
They also targeted a military site and critical infrastructure in the occupied Palestinian areas of Tel Aviv and Ashkelon with drones.
Sanaa issued the following statement:
“In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear Mujahideen, and in response to the crimes of genocide and starvation perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our people in the Gaza Strip…
The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport in the occupied area of Yaffa using a “Palestine 2” hypersonic ballistic missile, bypassing the interception systems of the Israeli enemy, and the operation successfully achieved its goal, thanks to Allah, causing great confusion among the ranks of the Israeli enemy, causing millions of usurping Zionists to flee to shelters, and suspending airport operations.
The UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two military operations using two drones targeting two Israeli enemy targets, one military and the other vital targets, in the Yaffa and Ashkelon areas of occupied Palestine.
By Allah’s grace, both operations successfully achieved their objectives.
The Yemeni Armed Forces, along with all the great Yemeni people, appreciate and value the heroism and sacrifices of our steadfast mujahidin people in Gaza.
Who set the finest examples of standing up to the nation’s enemies, sacrificing themselves and everything they have for the sake of Allah, defending the nation’s honor and dignity and rejecting the projects of encroachment and expansionist schemes.
A thousand greetings to them from us and from all the free people of the nation.
May the eyes of the cowards never sleep.
Yemen, with its loyal people, its mujahid army, and its faithful leadership, will stand with them until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.”
