Campaign of arrests against activists launched in Abyan

ABYAN, Oct. 17 (YPA) – A campaign of widespread kidnappings against media activists was launched on Saturday by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Radfan district of Abyan province, south of Yemen, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the STC’s campaign targeted several activists who participated in protests calling for improving services in the district.

Dozens of Radfan residents demonstrated to protest against cutting off basic services, holding the STC full responsible for the collapse.
