Egypt: Terrorists killed in Sinai

SANAA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – Egypt’s interior ministry announced that a national security force killed two terrorists who were preparing to target police and military forces, after an exchange of fire with them.

The Egyptian Interior Ministry explained that information received information that indicates the presence of a group of terrorists in north Sinai, preparing to carry out a series of hostile operations against the armed forces and police.

After follow-up, two members of the group, which it described as “extremely dangerous”, were spotted inside one of the vehicles, were monitoring the position of the security forces to target them, the minister said in a statement said.

The statement noted that the force found two pieces of automatic weapons, two explosive belts, a star pistol and a quantity of different ammunition , as well as a radio, and said that the Supreme State Security Prosecution was investigating the case.
