Corona’s toll in world exceeds 36.6 million injuries, one million and 62,428 deaths

SANAA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – A Reuters statistics showed that more than 36.6 million people were infected with the emerging corona virus worldwide, while the total number of deaths reached one million and 62,428 cases.
Corona virus infections have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the first cases were discovered in China in December 2019.
The United States topped the list, with seven million 633598 injuries, while the total number of deaths reached 212,819.
India came in second place in terms of the number of injured, recording six million 906,151 cases, and the total number of deaths reached 106,490.
Brazil ranked third in terms of the number of injured, with five million 28,444 injuries, while the number of deaths reached 148,957, the second largest in the world after the United States.
Russia came in fourth place in terms of the number of injured, as it recorded one million and 272238 injuries, and the total number of deaths reached 22,257 cases.
