Deputy PM opens projects worth over 13 bln riyals in telecommunication field

SANAA, Sep. 23 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs Dr. Hussein Maqbouli inaugurated on Wednesday a number of telecommunication and internet projects at a cost of 13,417,563,000 Yemeni riyals.

At the inauguration, which is attended by Mayor of the Capital Sanaa Hamoud Obad and Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Dr. Hashem Al-Shami, Dr. Maqbouli indicated that these projects, which cover telecommunications and internet services in the capital’s secretariat and the provinces represent a fruit of the September 21 Revolution fruits.

Dr. Maqbouli emphasized to the importance of these projects in keeping pace with the rapid developments in the world of telecommunication and the internet.
