Document reveals summons of displaced women at night in Marib by Islah militants

MARIB, Sept. 23 (YPA) – An official document from Internally displaced people (IDPs ) camps in Marib governorate revealed that the so-called security forces of the Al-Islah (Muslim Brotherhood militias) in the province have made night summons for many women.

In its complaint to the governor of Hadi in Marb Sultan al-Aradah, the IDPs said: “the repeated complaints of the families of displaced persons in the camps about the actions of security forces (mercenaries) and their transgressions by repeatedly summoning women continue.”

The document stressed that the procedures for the night summons of women were of great concern to displaced families and was considered an insult to dignity.

The summonses under the pretext of investigations and so-called security measures, although the militias of the Islah Party have obtained all the required data and tariffs from the displaced in previous periods, the document read.

Pro- Coalition activists have circulated news over the past days stating that Al-Islah militias in Marib summon women at night from displaced persons camps, causing widespread discontent.
