Coalition overthrows pro-Islah military leaders in Marib

MARIB, Sep. 13 (YPA) – Commander of Saudi-led coalition forces in the war on Yemen, who was recently appointed, Mutlaq bin Salem bin Mutlaq al-Azima, on Sunday ousted a number of military leaders loyal to Islah Party in Marib province.

Informed sources said that bin Mutlaq summoned an Emirati military commander to manage the battle of Marib, in light of the great military progress of the army and the popular committees towards the city of Marib, the provincial capital.

The UAE-loyal commander Sagheer bin Aziz, who was appointed as chief of the general staff of ‘Hadi’s forces’ last year, managed to remove the so-called “Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces” Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and the Defense Minister Mohammed al-Maqdashi from the military scene in Marib, according to the sources.

The sources confirmed that the coalition forces’ commander met on Saturday with the commander of the Emirati land forces, Saleh bin Mohammed al-Ameri, to assign him to manage the battle of Marib, in the largest Saudi-Emirati conspiracy against the military leaders of Islah and the so-called “legitimacy government”.
