144 trading violations seized in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sep. 4 (YPA) – An Office of Industry and Trade in Hodeidah governorate has carried out a campaign seized 144 trading violations over the last August.

Mohammad Abdul-Wahid Al-Hatami, a director of the Office of Industry in the province, affirmed that the campaign targeted areas of al-Hali, al-Hawk, al-Mina, al-Zaidiya, Bajil, Al-Jarahi, al-Sukhna, al-Mansouriya, Beit al-Faqih, and Zabid.

He pointed out that these campaigns, which were carried out in cooperation with the relevant authorities in the governorate, targeted bakeries, markets and shops, pointing out that the violations included increasing prices, selling without invoices, selling damaged and expired goods, and a shortage of bread weights.
