400 UAE, Israel soldiers with 30 armored vehicles arrive in Socotra Island

SOCOTRA, Sep. 4 (YPA) – About 400 soldiers with 30 armored vehicles of the United Arab Emirates and Israel enemy forces, arrived on Friday at the port of the occupied Socotra island, according to sources said.

The sources affirmed that an Emirati naval frigate was patrolling the coast of the island, after the arrival of a warship carrying 400 soldiers and more than 30 armored vehicles into the island’s port.

The source stated that the shipment of weapons and the soldiers who arrived on the island belonged to the Israeli navy.

The sources indicating that the occupation forces closed the island’s port, in preparation for unloading the ship and transporting weapons and armed vehicles to its camps that had been created during the past months.

This came after an Emirati officer was killed and two soldiers were wounded in the first qualitative operation to resist the UAE occupation in Socotra.
