Russian police have arrested five Yemeni students for demanding their financial rights, informed sources said.

Hadi’s ambassador to Russia, Ahmed al-Wahishi, called on Russian police to arrest Yemeni students following their demanding payment of their dues, according to the sources.

Russian police entered the embassy compound at the invitation of Ambassador Wahishi and arrested them.

The officers, who were studying, were summoned by the embassy from faraway cities on the basis of their travel on Aug. 9, but were surprised that they were arrested for forcibly deported from Russia.
