Iraqi intelligence forces arrest gang’s members loyal to Daesh

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The Iraqi Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency (FIIA) announced on Monday that its forces were able to arrest a gang members in Baghdad, accused of distributing “guarantees” to the families of terrorist organization Daesh “ISIS”.

“Through the coordination of intelligence work between the directorates of the intelligence agency in all provinces, and a joint operation by the Directorate of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism (Baghdad and Diyala), four terrorists were arrested after following up in the province and arrest operation took place in al-Dora area of Baghdad,” the agency said in a statement.

The statement added that their arrest was carried out “in accordance with article 4 terrorism because they belong to the terrorist gangs of Isis, who distribute so-called guarantees to the families of the ISIS terrorist gangs”.

“The agency recorded the statements of the four terrorists and referred them to the competent authority for t completing legal proceedings against them,” the statement said.
