“MTN” Group determines period of its exit from Middle East

SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – MTN Group’s CEO Rob Shuter has said that the company had decided to exit the Middle East market in the medium term (3-5 years).

The MTN Telecommunication Company – Yemen branch – on Sunday announced that the parent company’s decision would not affect its work in the Middle East and its obligations towards subscribers.

The Company said in a brief statement posted on its Facebook page, commenting on the announcement by the CEO of MTN Group that it will continue during the coming period as an integral part of the global MTN group.
