Armed confrontations erupted between Islah factions in Taiz

TAIZ, July 28 (YPA) – Fierce armed confrontations broke out on Tuesday between factions of the Saudi-backed Islah Party in Taiz province, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the clashes happened after cutting the streets of Jamal and Wadi al-Qadh by some elements in order to demand the payment of their salaries.

Light and medium weapons were used during the armed confrontations between two sides, the sources added.

The Saudi-led aggression coalition-held areas of Taiz city has seen anarchy and bloody conflicts as a result of armed clashes between the coalition’s factions.
