SANAA, July 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni astronomer and international expert in astrophysics, Adnan Al-Shawafi, on Monday expected that Yemen will witness an increase in the rainy weather over all of Yemen’s provinces during the next 48 hours.
In a statement he issued on Monday, al-Shawafi said that the percentage of formation of highly heavy rain cells increases during the next 48 hours from noon on Monday to noon on next Wednesday, July 29, 2020 compared to the previous days.
Al-Shawafi expected that most of the Yemeni regions will be hit with heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and winds, and that the precipitation will be of varying intensity that may cause torrents flow.
He indicated that this weather situation affects the whole of Yemen from east to west and all provinces without exception, warning of the dangers of thunderstorms and flowing torrents due to the continuation of rain during this week.
