SANAA, July 22 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council Muhammad Ali al-Houthi wished the safety of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, revealing “alliances” about which Sanaa spoke with Riyadh.
This came on the “Twitter” platform on Tuesday night, commenting on the announcement of the Saudi Royal Court, “King Salman bin Abdulaziz entered the hospital due to bitterness infections.”
The tweet sparked widespread controversy on social media, as it transcends the tragedies caused by the Saudi war in Yemen with the safety wishes of the King of the Leader of the War Alliance.
Activists paused when the tweet referred to “new alliances” that Sanaa had previously spoken to with Riyadh, which opened the door to a projection of speculation and expectations among politicians and observers.
Politicians have linked the reference to “new alliances” and what leaked earlier media outlets about “talks between Riyadh and Sanaa to end the war by regional mediation.”
However, observers saw the tweet as a threat that Sanaa would start new alliances that political council member Muhammad al-Houthi had hinted at in previous tweets, and Yemen’s ambassador to Iran recently confirmed it.
Yemeni ambassador to Tehran, Ibrahim Al-Dailami, said in an interview with Al-Masirah channel: “The continuation of the performance of the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen and its deficit will push towards going to other regional blocs,” without elaborating further details.
