Islah militias target Bakazim tribe in Shabwa, kidnap its people

SHABWA, July 7 (YPA) – Islah party’s militias launched on Tuesday an arresting campaign against Bakazim tribe people in Shabwa province, activists of Bakazim tribe told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources declared that several of the tribe’s people were arrested by Islah militants in Ataq city.

The activists confirmed that the tribe held Islah militiamen the responsible for lives of its kidnapped people.

The activists also demanded to release Mohammed al-Kazimi who was kidnapped in Jalfour checkpoint of Shabwa province.

Security commanders loyal to Islah party accused a number of the Bakazim tribe of forming criminal gangs loyal to UAE-backed southern transitional.
