17 COVID-19 cases recorded in southern Yemen

ADEN, July 6 (YPA) – Health authorities in Saudi-led coalition-backed government on Sunday have recorded 17 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in occupied provinces.

The Control Committee tasked with confronting the coronavirus said in a tweet that it had recorded five cases in Hadhramaut province, five others in Dhalea and four cases in Taiz, as well as recording  two cases in Shabwah and one case in Lahj.

The committee confirmed that it had recorded one death case in Hadhramaut province. The committee added that it has recorded 11 recovery cases in Taiz, Hadhramaut, Lahj and Dhela provinces.

According to the committee, the total number of cases of the new coronavirus Covid-19 has risen to (1265) cases, including (338 ) deaths and ( 552) recoveries.
