SANAA, July 5 (YPA) – Missile attack targeted the heavily fortified Green Zone, which houses the US Embassy in Baghdad, the Iraqi Capital,officials said on Sunday, .

According to Iraqi media, the “Patriot system” repelled a Katyusha rocket attack fired at the US embassy. The missile landed on one of the apartments near the embassy.”

“The rocket attack injured a child and caused material damage to the apartment,” one of the official added .

“The defense systems known as patriots in the Green Zone have been tested by the United States,” the official said ، adding that “the experiment was repeated five times in the skies of the US Embassy.
