Heavy rains fall in Sanaa, its environs

SANAA, July 4 (YPA) – The capital Sanaa and its environs witnessed Saturday evening heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms.

The National Meteorological Center had announced earlier in the day in its weather bulletin that the weather would be cloudy, expecting rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms on a series of mountain highlands that may extend east to include parts of the regions and internal plateaus.

The Meteorological Center warned the citizens in the areas where rain is expected from walking in the flood paths and valley bottoms during and after the rains, for their safety.
