23 civilians killed, 15 wounded in 2 blasts in Afghanistan

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – 23 civilians were killed on Monday and 15 others wounded in two blasts occurred in a market in Afghanistan.

The Afghan authorities and the military leadership confirmed that the attack was attributed to the Taliban.

The Afghan authorities said in a statement, “This morning, the Taliban carried out two explosions in a market in Sangin district in Helmand province. Unfortunately, 23 civilians were killed and 15 wounded”.
