Prisoner Foundation condemns targeting presidential office in Sana’a

SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – The National Prisoner Foundation condemned the brutal crime committed by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition which bombed the Presidential Office in the center of the capital Sanaa in the highly populated, commercial and banks district of Tahrir, according to a statement received by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

The Foundation said targeting a civilian protected facility is contrary to the international law and international humanitarian law, and is a war crime against humanity.

The statement called on the international community, in particular the United Nations, to condemn this crime and to carry its  duty in accordance with its charter and the provisions of international humanitarian law.

The statement called for forming an independent international committee to investigate in all war crimes which committed by the coalition warplanes for four years on Yemenis.
