SANAA, June 24 (YPA) – At least five people were killed by a 7.5-magnitude earthquake in southern Mexico.
The epicenter was located 23 kilometers southeast of Crocesita, off the coast of Oaxaca State, at a depth of five kilometers.
The earthquake also damaged dozens of buildings and injured at least 5 people in Oaxaca State as well as the electricity was cut across the state shortly after the earthquake.
The National Seismological Authority of Mexico recorded 147 aftershocks, the strongest of which was 4.6 degrees during the next hour of the earthquake.
