STC urges coalition for immediate intervention

ADEN, July 12 (YPA) – Fadl al-Jaadi, a member of the presidency of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), has called on the Saudi-led coalition to urgently intervene to save citizens from the looming famine that is devastating Aden and several other southern governorates.

“The growing popular rejection of catastrophic economic policies — measures that are pushing citizens toward famine and threatening their survival — is an indication that could lead to serious consequences,” al-Jaadi wrote on X.

He called on the Saudi-led coalition to take immediate action to stabilize the local currency and improve living conditions and public services.
